Rowbottom, Helen M.

ROWBOTTOM, Helen - Passed away peacefully April 21, 2017 in her 93rd year. Helen was born and raised in Oro Station, Ontario. Serving as a WAF at Camp Borden during WWII, she met her husband of 50 years Stanley. Helen is survived by her sister Ruth Addison of Orillia. Predeceased by her husband Stan in 1995. Helen had three children, Jim Mills of Orillia, Shirley Rowbottom and Charlotte Land, both of Guelph. Helen and Stanley have four grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Cremation has taken place. Internment Woodlawn Memorial Park on May 13, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. Mom is dancing with Dad again.
A tree will be planted in memory of Helen M. Rowbottom in the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest, University of Guelph Arboretum. Dedication service, Sunday, September 17, 2017 at 2:30 pm.
