GRAY, Marilyn May (nee Parkinson) - Passed away peacefully at Guelph General Hospital after a short illness, on Monday, September 4th, at the age of 85.
Beloved wife of the late Walter Ross Gray (1985). Loved mother of Robert (Judy) and Lynn (Paul). Cherished grandma to Chad (Cindi), Maggie (Lyndon), Jill (Ken), Sara (Brian), Mary (Dan), and Todd. Great grandma to Jordan, Darian, Quinn, Briar, Tate, Quentin, Xavier, Isaac, Elias, and Flora. A valued friend and good neighour, Marilyn will be dearly missed by her many friends, neighbours, and those with whom she served in the community. Marilyn was many things, but most of all a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Marilyn will be remembered for her love of the fur trade, a passion for music and for her community.

Friends will be received at the Barrie Hill United Church, 5702 Wellington Rd. 29, RR 5 Rockwood, on Friday, September 8, 2017 from 12:30 – 2 pm. Funeral service will be held at 2 pm in the church. Reception to follow in the church hall. Interment at Johnson Cemetery.

Memorial donations can be made to the Barrie Hill United Church Women of which Marilyn was an active and lifelong member.

A tree will be planted in memory of Marilyn M. Gray in the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest, University of Guelph Arboretum. Dedication service, Sunday, September 16, 2018 at 2:30 pm.
