HETHERINGTON, Lieut. Colonel Margaret Helen (nee Morrison) - November 21, 1935- May 20, 2018
Passed away peacefully at the Guelph General Hospital on Sunday May 20th in her 83rd year.
Beloved wife of Lieut. Col. Lloyd Hetherington. Devoted and fond mother of Gregory (Robin) Hetherington, Sherrill Hetherington and Denise (David) Hutchinson. Cherished grandmother of Jesse, Benjamin and Zachary. Beloved sister of Robert (deceased), Barbara (Walter) and Colleen (Trevor). Predeceased by James and Kathleen Morrison.
Served with her husband as a Salvation Army officer in Zambia and Canada for over 50 years and had taken a prominent role in The Guelph Salvation Army.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 15th at 3pm at The Salvation Army, 1320 Gordon Street, Guelph. Funeral to follow at 4pm.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to The Salvation Army Community & Family Services Guelph.

A tree will be planted in memory of Margaret H Hetherington in the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest, University of Guelph Arboretum. Dedication service, Sunday, September 16, 2018 at 2:30 pm.
