James Edward Carroll, 70, of Puslinch, Ontario passed away suddenly on Thursday, May 31, 2018, surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Guelph, Ontario on December 19, 1947, he was the son of the late Edward Carroll and the late Myrtle Jean Carroll nee Winer. He was preceded in death by his sister, Susanne Marie Harrison.
He is survived by his sister, Nancy Carroll, of Victoria, British Columbia; his uncle Bill Carroll and cousins, Joan and Debbie Carroll of Waterdown, Ontario; his Aunt Hazel Friel and family, of Harriston; and his cousin, Michael Carroll of Belwood. He is also survived by his nephews, Scott Harrison and his wife, Jennifer and daughter Madelaine of Rockwood; Todd Harrison and his wife Jennifer and their children, Talia and Chloe, of Elora; Dean Harrison and his wife Crystal and their children Brett and Blake of Elora. He will be fondly remembered by family and friends for his stories and his love of his dog, India.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 26, from 2 to 4 p.m. for a Celebration of Life ceremony at the Puslinch Community Center in the Alf Hales Room, 23 Brock Rd S, Puslinch.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jim's name to World Vision or the Canadian Cancer Society.
