Magnus, Martin K.

Was a pastor for 34 years and helped many people find faith, forgiveness and hope in the Lord Jesus Christ. Martin went to be with the Lord in his sleep on Sunday, June 24, 2018 at Grand River Hospital.
Beloved husband of the late Lois (nee Smith)for 56 years. Loving and amazing father and great Christian example to Brian (Lynette), Cindy (Scott) Jackson, Randy (Deb), Greg and Tim. Devoted grandfather to 13 grandchildren (and four in-law) and four greatgrandchildren. Dear brother to Helmuth (Joan). Predeceased by parents Karl and Marie and sisters Lydia (Alton) Dennis, and Dorothy (Joe) Wolfe. Martin will also be lovingly remembered by his in-laws on the Smith side, his church family, his extended family, many friends, and many who adopted him as their dad or grandpa.
Visitation will take place from 2-4 p.m. and a Celebration of Life at 6:30 with a reception to follow on Thursday, June 28 at Stanley Park Community Church, 9 Dreger Ave., Kitchener, 519-893-8186. Cremation will take place and a private burial.
If desired, donations in Martin's memory may be made to Stanley Park Community Church, United Brethren Missions, Seeds of Hope Children's Ministry or a charity of your choice.

A tree will be planted in memory of Martin Magnus in the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest, University of Guelph Arboretum. Dedication service, Sunday, September 16, 2018 at 2:30 p
