Keleher, Douglas Laverne -
Doug passed away at home surrounded by his loved ones on November 17, 2019 at the age of 62.
Doug, the beloved husband of Candice Keleher (nee Clark) of 34 years. Doug was the cherished father of Justin (Tanya) Keleher; step-father of Jason Atkinson (Jodi); Sherri Atkinson; Tammy (Stan) Atkinson; Will Clark (Lorien). ‘Papa’ will be missed by his grandchildren Noelle, Wesley, Jordan, Kadan, Ayden, Chase, Travis, Dylan, Dawson and Jahce.
Doug is the brother of Fred (the late Doreen) Keleher, Ron (Bev) Keleher, Lorraine (Tom) Pinder, Ken Keleher, Chris (Denise) Keleher. Doug is predeceased by his parents Matilda Grace Keleher (nee Evans) and Harvey Thomas Keleher, his brother David Keleher and brother-in-law Bill Clark. Doug was the brother-in-law of Sharon (Paul) Wilkie, Rhonda Coulter (Carmel), Ricky Clark (the late Sylvia Willard). Uncle Doug will be missed by his many nieces and nephews.
Doug was a valued employee of Knight Lumber for 30 years until it closed in 2011. He will be remembered fondly as ‘Peanut’, a true friend willing to help anyone with anything. Doug fought a brave battle with cancer. He is surely back on the banks, fishing with Papo.
Donations to the Guelph Salvation Army Family Services would be appreciated in memory of Doug.
A celebration of life will be held at The Salvation Army, Guelph Citadel, 1320 Gordon St., Guelph on Saturday, December 14, 2019 at 10:30 am.
