Hearsum, Richard A.

HEARSUM, Richard Allen (Rick) - Of Guelph, born February 27, 1956, passed away in his sleep on Saturday, March 28, 2020, in Guelph, Ontario. He was 64.

Beloved son of Ednah Hearsum of Chesley. Predeceased by his father Norman Hearsum. Loving father of Tanya Hearsum (Dean) Clooten of Kamloops, B.C., Riki Hearsum of Guelph, Kinsley Chase Orr of Winnipeg, Manitoba and Ryan James Carter of Surrey, B.C. Adoring grandfather of Alisha, Madison, Keaton and Kingston. Dear brother of James (Lori) Hearsum of Peterborough, Robert Hearsum of Maple Ridge, B.C. and Dianne (Steve) Hills of Tara. Cherished uncle to his nieces and nephews Benjamin (Donna), Abigail (Bruce), Blake (Grace), Andrew (Megan), Chrissi (Nigel), Avery and Brielle (Darren), and their children.

Rick was a funny, hardworking, talented, caring man who enjoyed his life to the fullest, glorying in the fun times and rolling with the punches when life threw him curves. He was a skilled tradesman, a drywaller, welder and jack-of-all trades who delivered high-quality results and made friends wherever he worked. Rick was a talented singer and guitar player who loved nothing more than performing with anyone and everyone. He also enjoyed fishing and vegetable gardening, but most of all Rick loved spending time with his friends and family, especially his grandchildren.
