KUBUSCH, Waltraud Rosalie - Went home to be with her Lord peacefully in the early morning of April 9, 2020 at Guelph General Hospital.
Waltraud was born in Germany on October 1, 1935. She was a devoted and beloved wife of Peter Kubusch. Her memory will forever be cherished by her children: Maria (Chris) Kraft, Peter Denysenko, Christine Jones, Sophia Cummings, Thomas (Linda) Kubusch, Natalie McBride, Jutta (Claudio) Scott, Simon Kubusch and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Waltraud not only loved reading the word of God but copied the entire Bible several times in two languages. She also spent much time in prayer for her family, friends and government as she seen several miracles of God in her life. It is giving us great peace to know that according to the Bible she is now in the presence of God. She loved to spend time with her children and enjoyed cooking, baking, knitting and rocking her grandchildren to sleep. Waltraud was a very loving and caring lady, devoted wife, amazing mother, Oma, and friend. She was always thinking of others and would help in any way she could. To know her was to love her. She was an amazing woman of God who will truly be missed.
Arrangements entrusted to the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 519-822-0051 or wallcustance.com – Condolences can be forwarded to the family via the funeral home website below Waltraud’s notice.
God looked around his garden
And He found an empty place.
And then He looked down upon the earth,
And saw your tired face.
He put His arms around you,
And lifted you to rest.
God’s Garden must be beautiful,
He always takes the best.
He knew that you were suffering,
He knew you were in pain,
He knew that you would never
Get well on earth again.
He saw the road was getting rough,
And the hills were hard to climb,
So He closed your weary eyelids,
And whispered, “Peace be thine.”
It broke our hearts to lose you.
But you didn’t go alone,
For part of us went with you,
The day God called you home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests to please make donations to Crossways to Life or her church World Outreach Ministries.
