MAGGIOLO, Adelino – It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Adelino Maggiolo on Thursday, March 9, 2023.
Adelino was the beloved husband of Mirella, the loving father of Adelina (March 7, 1970) Sam, Vania, Mario (Gillian), Adelina (Rob). He was the adored Nonno to Dennis, Samatha, Steven, Katie, Leah and Haley. He was the admired Bis-Nonno to Logan, Houston, Jordan and (his favourite Ninetta) Annalise. He will be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
Adelino was born March 15, 1939, in Case Corba, Treviso, Italy to the late Fernando Maggiolo, Maria (nee Zanella). He is predeceased by his siblings in Italy: Lina, Bruna, Anselmo, and still survived by Celestina.
He enjoyed his gardens and the outdoors. He always enjoyed having company over with home cooked meals. He would never turn down the opportunity to watch a soccer game or a Toronto Maple Leafs hockey game.
A public memorial mass for Adelino will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2023 at 10:30am at the Basilica of Our Lady Immaculate.
Arrangements entrusted to the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL 519-822-0051 / www.wallcustance.com.
