CUNNINGHAM, Allen D. – It is with heavy hearts we share the passing of Allen David Cunningham on Saturday, January 10, 2026.
Much loved husband of Carol 52 years married, and loved Dad to David (Maureen), Laura (Ben) Kunkle, Joe (Beth), late Freddie (Jessica), late Nickolas. Loved Papa to Logan, Grace (Noah), Jaxson Cunningham, Lucas, Madison, Brady, Ella Cunningham, Keira and Holden Kunkle, Adeline and Charles Cunningham. Will be missed by brothers Bob, Ronnie, Grant, Gordon and late sisters Betty, Dorothy, Barb. Son-in-law to late Charles and late Maureen Johnson and Pre-deceased by his parents Al and Frances Cunningham.
Al could drive for hours at a time and take us to places without thinking of it while we would dose in the car. He had a great passion for watches and was always looking for the next one to buy even though he probably had hundreds already. Listening to his radio, playing CDs, music brought him great enjoyment. He liked to order a hot beef meal and getting to Anna Mae’s in Millbank was always a treat. He loved his Toronto Maple Leafs and Toronto Blue Jays. He liked to wear a few rings at a time and just received a watch ring for Christmas, wore a necklace every day. He sure enjoyed trips to the Dominican Republic and became a member of a family there. He would bring a few watches with him and give them to the vendors on the beach along with Blue Jay merchandise which they loved to receive.
We thank Everyone for the prayers, love and messages in this difficult time.
A celebration of life and a graveside service will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL 519-822-0051 / www.wallcustance.com.
A tree will be planted in memory of Allen D. Cunningham in the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest.
