Barbara Jackson

JACKSON, Barbara – Of Guelph, passed away peacefully at Hospice Wellington on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, in her 97th year.  

Predeceased by her husband of 50 years Eric Jackson. Beloved mother of Vivien and Steven. Loving grandmother of Kim (Norman), Ken (Tanya), Kevin (Jen), and Michael (Mallory). Great grandmother of Kassandra, Ryan, Kyle, and Taylor. She will be fondly remembered by her niece Kay.  

Barbara was a traveller of the world with her husband Eric, always exploring new places together. After Eric’s passing, she would go on trip with groups of friends, continuing her passion for seeing new places.

She loved being social and spending time with her friends and especially her family, who will miss her dearly. Barbara was a strong woman and a smart dresser; she always looked her best!

The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to Anna and Adriana for their kindness and compassion, and for being with our mom in her final moments.

Cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL (519-822-0051 / www.wallcustance.com).

Memorial contributions to Hospice Wellington would be appreciated.
