KELEHER, Beverley John August 24, 1933 September 8, 2015 Peacefully, with his wife and daughter by his side. For 64 years, Bev was the beloved husband and knight in shining armour to Katherina (Funk). Most darling dad to Debra (Bob), Bill (Janette) and the late Lloyd (2011). Precious grandpa to Julie, Alexander, Beverly, Perry, Brent, Jamie and Lainey. Loving great grandpa to Logan and Charlie. Dearest brother of Frank and Jeannie, and loved by Victor, Wendy and Evelyn Funk. Predeceased by his parents Francis and Jennie and his siblings, Helen, Virginia, Ruth, Violet, Russell, Ernie, Marshall, Ross, Wayne and Harvey. Best friend of the late David Merkley (2015). Bev will be missed by the Toe Tappers group who played at the nursing homes. He got such joy playing in their little band. Friends will be received at the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph on Wednesday, September 16, 2015 from 10:00 am-12:00 noon. Memorial service will follow at noon. Reception to follow in the Wall-Custance Family Reception Centre. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests donations be made to Eden Mills Presbyterian Church, where Bev was so active. A giant among men, much loved by all those fortunate to know him. Sleep well our sweet Prince.
