MARTIN, Brenda Ruth – Passed away peacefully at Guelph General Hospital on Friday, January 26, 2024, in her 65th year.
Beloved wife of the late Michael Martin, who passed away suddenly January 20, 2024.
Loved mother and best friend of Ryan Dillow (Jaime). Survived by 4 nieces (Tryna, Stacey, Crystal and Kim) and 1 nephew (Matt) and many great AND great-great nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents Bob and Ruth Doersam and siblings Gloria Janicki and Bob Doersam.
Brenda was born in Guelph on November 3, 1959, as the youngest of 3 children. She was living in Clifford, Ontario at the time of her passing. She loved the Toronto Blue Jays, Star Wars, Twilight, True Crime, musicals like Les Miserables and Hamilton, and was an avid animal lover, especially her cat fur babies Jazz and Dazzle. She was also so excited, as she was to be a Grandma for the first time this summer.
Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at a later date, details to be announced. Arrangements entrusted to WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL (519-822-0051 / www.wallcustance.com).
Memorial contributions to Diabetes Canada, the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Guelph Humane Society would be appreciated.
A tree will be planted in memory of Brenda R. Martin in the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest.
