Claire Mae Martin, 82, passed away due to complications of pneumonia on November 23rd, 2024.
Born May 3rd,1 942 in San Francisco, The second of three daughters, Sherry and Carrol, both predeceased. She will be sadly missed by her children Ann, Nancy, Kathleen, Michelle and Mark and she is reunited with her son Brian predeceased (2004) She leaves behind 16 grandchildren (one predeceased) and 8 great grandchildren.
Claire loved her family and was always there when needed. She had a big bursting heart, and her empathetic qualities were insurmountable, very personable and approachable and would reach out to total strangers and engage in conversation. She worked with dementia and down syndrome patients, she did real estate and worked at Young Drivers Of Canada. In her older years she loved doing crafts, music and dancing. Claire has left a mark in so many people’s lives and never will be forgotten.
Special thanks to the staff at the Riverside Glen, Nicol Neighbourhood, for the kindness and compassion you showed Claire during her stay there.

A tree will be planted in memory of Claire M. Martin in the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest.
