LOFRANCO, Darla A. – It is with great sadness the family of Darla Lofranco announces her passing on Mon. Jan. 15, 2024, at Credit Valley Hospital, in her 73rd year. Darla passed peacefully with her family by her side.
Dear wife of Frank Lofranco. Daughter of Anna Thompson, sister to Cathy Durnin (Jamie) and brother Paul Thompson (Kathy Lee). Predeceased by her father Stanley Thompson.
Darla was a huge animal lover. Her dedication, hard work, determination and love of Kuvasz dogs put the breed on the map. Lofranco Kuvasz (50 years) Top producing kennel in breed history with more than 100 championship titles. Darla was a life time member of the Canadian Kennel Club.
Darla had many business associates, family and friends, she will be greatly missed by many.
Cremation has taken place. There will not be any additional services to honour Darla’s wishes. If desired a donation to your local humane society or the heart and stroke foundation. Arrangements entrusted to WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL (519-822-0051 / www.wallcustance.com).
A tree will be planted in memory of Darla A. Lofranco in the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest.
