AZZOPARDE, Dave – April 13, 1952 – November 14, 2024
It is with heavy hearts, but also peace in the assurance of eternity, that we announce the passing of Dave Azzoparde who went to be with the Lord on November 14, 2024.
Dave was born on April 13, 1952, to Anna and Joe Azzoparde, in Brantford, Ontario.
He met and fell in love with Lucille, and they were married on June 30, 1973. They have three children: Jamie, Gord and Heather.
Dave worked as a millwright all his adult life. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed travelling. He had a passion for hospitality and a heart for helping others, and he used his many gifts in the trades to do so.
He loved his family fiercely and did everything he could to provide for, and to protect them. More importantly, he loved the Lord with all his heart! He shared God’s love, and the message of God’s promises, with everyone he could.
Dave is survived by, and will be dearly missed by, Lucille, his children Jamie (Bianca), Gord (Teressa) and Heather (Will), his grandchildren Hailey (Ben), Josiah, Gideon, Judah, Esra, Eve, Owen, Leland & Tristan, and siblings Susan (Keith), Sonia (Jeff), Seymour (Patricia), Deborah (Murray), Stephen & Sally (Tom). Also survived by many beloved nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents and his sister Yvonne.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2024, from 2-4pm at the Waterloo Church of Christ, 470 Glenelm Cres., Waterloo.
