WURR, DONALD DAVID – Of Guelph, passed away peacefully at Hospice Wellington on Wednesday, November 10, 2021, with his loving family, and cat Psycho Diva, by his side in his 48th year.  

Cherished son of David and Judy Wurr. Loved brother of Sharon Wurr. Will be fondly remembered many relatives, neighbours and friends.

Don was an avid baseball player, bowler and floor hockey dynamo with Special Olympics Ontario. He was a dedicated volunteer for the Guelph Royals Minor Baseball team and enjoyed many Guelph Storm games.

Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Don’s life will be held in the spring of 2022. Arrangements entrusted to the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL 519-822-0051 / www.wallcustance.com.

Memorial contributions in Don’s memory to the Special Olympics or Hospice Wellington would be appreciated. 

 

A tree will be planted in memory of Donald D. Wurr in the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest.

We continue to rely on the advice provided by health experts and are committed to doing all we can to keep our community healthy.
