Doreen C. Nash

NASH, Doreen Carol (nee Borrow) – in her 72nd year, passed peacefully after a courageous battle with Scleroderma and Interstitial Lung Disease on May 12th, 2023 at Hospice Wellington, Guelph, with family by her side.

Beloved wife of Gerald (Gerry). Dear mother of Stewart (Stacy). Loving grandmother of Emma, Sam, Seamus, Lucy, Jorja, and Brayden. Loving aunt to Cory Stevenson, Angie and Lowden Mullen, and great aunt to Faith. Predeceased by her parents Evelyn and Jack Borrow, her younger sister Gayla Stevenson, and her special aunt Hazel.

Doreen will be missed by her uncle Ken and aunt Alice Stewart, and cousins, and her dear friends Lyn, Loretta, and Dot. She made many friends working at Sears, Guelph for 33 years.

Funeral service will be held at the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph, on Thursday, May 18, 2023 at 2 pm. Reception to follow in the Wall-Custance Family Reception Centre.  Burial will take place at Parry Sound Hillcrest Cemetery at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Hospice Wellington would be appreciated. 

A tree will be planted in memory of Doreen C. Nash in the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest.
