ROETERINK, Elisabeth B. – April 26, 1929 – February 9, 2023 Sadly on February 9, 2023, Elisabeth (Liz) Berndina Roeterink (née Bleekman) passed away peacefully at age 93.
She was predeceased by her husband – Joe. Liz was a proud stay at home mother of five children, John (Sue), Wilma, Douglas, David (Sue), and Robert (Laurie). She was a loving Grandma to Nicholaas (Sarah), Michael (Kaitlin), Laura (Tim), Gabrielle (Jake), Emily and Stacey. Liz was a great grandmother to Layla and recently, Róisín James.
Liz and Joe were “village people from the circle” being longtime residents of Martin’s Blvd, Churchville. Liz was well-loved in the village and always made time for a coffee or glass of wine with friends and neighbours. Courageous and feisty to the end, Liz will be laid to rest with her husband in the village cemetery.
