Faith A. Forsey

FORSEY, Faith Ann (nee Ballantyne)
September 15, 1943 – November 8, 2023

Our dear wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother is now safely in the arms of Jesus. Faith passed into Heaven gently and peacefully on Wednesday, November 8, 2023 at the age of 80 years, while at St. Joseph’s Palliative Care in Guelph.

Beloved wife of Harold Forsey for 60 years. Dear mother of Ann Marie Crawford (Matthew), Steven Forsey (Tricia) and Peter Forsey (Dana). Much loved grandma to Samuel, Emily and Noah Crawford, Victoria Forsey and Hope (Andrew) Sinka and Raelyn and Ava Forsey and great-grandma to Katrina and Rachel Sinka. Faith will be lovingly remembered by her sisters, Bonnie Murray and Carolyn Allardyce and brothers Ian Ballantyne and Cameron Ballantyne (Susan) along with many nieces and nephews. Faith was predeceased by her grandson Josiah Crawford (1999) and sisters Georgina Bode (2004) and Margaret Scheerer (2010).

A special thanks to the staff on 5W at Guelph General Hospital and the Palliative Care Team at St. Joseph’s who cared for Mom so well and also for our family.

In memory of Faith, donations to the Alzheimer Society Waterloo Wellington or Samaritan’s Purse would be appreciated by the family.

A tree will be planted in memory of Faith A. Forsey in the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest.
