POIRIER, Frances Ellen – passed away peacefully at Guelph General Hospital on Sunday, November 12, 2023. She was born November 21, 1927, and would have celebrated her 96th birthday next week.
She leaves behind sons, Richard and his wife Nicole and Tom and his wife Phyllis. She will be greatly missed by granddaughters Erin and her husband Chris and Kyla and her husband Brian and especially her great granddaughter Eva. She was predeceased by her husband John, daughter in law Brenda, sister Mildred and her husband George Markle.
She will also be missed by nephews and their wives Gord, Marilyn, Murray, Brian, and Pat, and Bill and Linda Markle and their families.
At her request, there will be a private family graveside service. Arrangements entrusted to WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL (519-822-0051 / www.wallcustance.com).
Memorial contributions to the Middleport Historical Society would be appreciated.
A tree will be planted in memory of Frances E. Poirier in the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest.
