BRIMELOW, Gary William – Of Guelph, passed away peacefully at Guelph General Hospital on Monday, March 10, 2025.
Beloved husband of 46 years to Barbara. Loved father of Craig (Shannon) and Jennifer (the late Edward). Loving grandfather of William and Mikayla. Dear brother of Marlene (Peter). He will be fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Predeceased by his parents Albert and Violet.
Gary was born and raised in Guelph, Ontario. He was a welder/fitter by trade. Gary had a passion for music and played the drums in his younger days. He practised with his band in the basement of Harcourt United Church and was also a member of The Guelph Royalaires.
He met his beloved wife Barb in 1975 and married in 1977.
Gary was a baseball coach with the Guelph Royals and that continued to be his favourite sport his entire life.
He was a man of the outdoors. He loved hunting, fishing, trapping, cookouts and hiking.
In his most recent years his most memorable times were spent with his grandchildren that he loved dearly.
Funeral service will be at the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph, on Monday, March 17, 2025, at 11:00am. Interment at Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Reception to follow in the Wall-Custance Family Reception Centre.
