HAYDEN, Harry James “Jim” – It is with great sadness I share that my dear husband, Harry James Hayden, has passed away on February 6, 2025, after a month in the hospital.
Known to friends and family as Jim, he was born in Toronto in 1948 and went on to live in Guelph for 45 years. He passed shortly after celebrating his 77th birthday on January 24, 2025.
He seemed to be aware of visiting family and friends on his birthday but went into decline shortly after. He joins his mother Martha, and his father Kenneth in heaven. He leaves behind his loving wife Melita, his sons Brian and Craig, step-son James, his daughters Rachel and Michelle, his step-daughter Rebecca. His step-daughter Cynthia passed suddenly on December 11, 2024. He also leaves behind his amazing grandchildren, including Chloee who was adopted into our family.
There will be a celebration of life in May, notices will be sent out to family and friends closer to the date.
Arrangements entrusted to the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL 519-822-0051 / www.wallcustance.com.
