O’REGAN, Hugh – Hugh passed away peacefully at Hospice Wellington on Tuesday, November 12, 2024 in his 60th year.
Predeceased by his beloved sister Maureen. Survived by his devoted daughter Grace and her mother Shanon Kerr. Also survived by his mother Annette, sister Ann Walter, cousin Mary Bonner and many other family and friends.
Born in Scotland and raised in Raphoe, Ireland, Hugh came to Canada in 1987 but he never lost his distinctive Irish style, charm, and charisma. He was a lifelong supporter of The Bhoys! and was never one to let the truth ruin a good story!
Hugh worked hard all of his life and was employed by Better Beef, Maple Leaf Foods, CFIA and for the last 8 years by Jefferson Elora Corporation where he will be fondly remembered by many colleagues
The family extends our gratitude to Dr. Stickney at Groves Memorial Hospital for his extraordinary care and compassion.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to KidsAbility would be greatly appreciated by the family.
Cremation has taken place, and a private family service will be held at a later date.
Arrangements entrusted to WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL (519-822-0051 / www.wallcustance.com).
“Those we love don’t go away,
They walk beside us every day,
