CALVER, Jeanne – It is with deep grief and profound sadness that we announce the sudden death of our sister Jeanne Calver on Friday May 19, 2023, in her 73rd year. Jeanne had many health issues and struggled for years with them, but took each day as it came.
Beloved sister of Pat Lanfranchi, Cameron Calver (Robin), Pinky Nantais (Phil), David Calver (Judy). Predeceased by Mom (2014), and youngest sister Brenda (2009). Adored by nieces and nephews Mary Finoro, Tammy Miller, Tanya Calver, Nicole Calver, Allison Mammoliti, Adelle Nantais, Noel Nantais, Tim Calver, Brad Calver, Shawn Calver, Brody Calver.
Jeanne was born in Red Deer Alberta, lived all over Canada, but Guelph was home from the time she was 12 years old. She lived in a close knit family, and we all collectively have hundreds of stories and adventures.
Jeanne leaves behind many friends, including her best friend Lorraine Vanderkopp who took her to her weekly appointment at Life Labs. She made good friends at Louie’s on Lewis, and for years worked every weekend at the Golden Crown Restaurant. She played cribbage every week for years at Louie’s except in the summer. She played with Guelph Ladies SLO Pitch, volleyball, and horseshoes when she was able. She loved family get togethers and parties of any kind ….as long as you didn’t ask her to cook.
Thank you to Care Partners for the care provided.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at Louie’s on Lewis on Friday evening July 14, 2023, from 7:00 on. Bring your favourite story/memory. Arrangements entrusted to the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL 519-822-0051 / www.wallcustance.com.
