Josiah (Joe) W. Quast

Quast, Joe (Josiah), of RR3 Rockwood, passed away peacefully at Eden House Retirement Home with his daughters at his side on Friday November 15, 2024, his 91st birthday.

Beloved husband of 60 years to Betty (Robinson). Loved father of Anne Quast (Mike Jeffery), Jill Ralston (Tom), Helen Watler (Crosbie) and Norah Quast (Greg Parker). Loving grandfather of Arley McBlain (Kristi), AJ McBlain (Jen), and Stephanie Jeffery (Kyle DeVuono), Sarah Ralston (Jeff Snyder), Jackie Watkins (Chris), TJ Ralston (Tabatha), Hannah Watler (Eric Stevenson), Liza Watler, Evan Watler (Riley Waytes), Toby Parker and Paige Parker. Great Grandfather of Quinn and Etcher McBlain, Adalyn and Emily McBlain, Caleb and Addison Watkins, Lucas and Nathan Ralston, Penelope Snyder and Leif Watler-Stevenson. Dear brother to Hilda Smith. Predeceased by brothers John and Jim and baby sister Bernice.

Friends will be received at Wall Custance Funeral Home, Monday, November 18, 6 – 8 pm. Funeral service at Barrie Hill United Church on Tuesday, November 19, 11:00 am. For those who are unable to attend but wish to watch the service remotely, you can do so by clicking this link. Interment to follow, Johnson Cemetery. Reception following in the church hall.
