Providing Cremation and Funeral Services to Guelph and Area since 1941.
LEFNESKI, Joy Helen (nee Geddes) lived her glorious transition into Eternal Light on July 21 in her 96th year within the comfort of her home of 31 years. This was her life goal that her family were privileged to fulfill. Joy’s last 2 months were filled with beautiful and fun moments, showered by love and care. What a gift for all, to remain independent, manage her home from bed, and have time to create precious memories with friends and family.
Joy is pre-deceased by her parents William Geddes and Myrtle Skyring Geddes, her husband Ernest (2013) and her children: Rebecca (2004), Ruth (2010) and Joseph (2017), grandson Steve (2012), daughter in law Janice (2021), sisters Dorothy (2015), Shirley (2022), and brothers William (1944, WWll), Donald (1988).
Her memory is precious to her children Pauline Thiessen (Jake), Paul, Steve (Loraine), Philip, and David as well as her ‘little man’ Puff Dog,
To her 16 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren,
as well as her sisters, Mary Harmen and Faith Geddes.
We extend our gratitude to
