WOTHERSPOON, Kenneth (Ken) Harold – Passed away peacefully on November 14th, 2024 at the age of 61.
Beloved husband of wife Darla-Jean Wotherspoon. Dear brother to Darin and Jeffrey Wotherspoon and brother in law Michael Tepfenhart. Also survived by his son Justin Wotherspoon and step-sons Andrew and Damien Emmerson. Loving son of his mother Pat and (late) father Gerald Wotherspoon. A special thank you to Karen Girard for all her advocacy, love and support over the last 5 years.
A very sincere tribute to all the staff and residents at Trinity Village Studios. Who provided Ken with care, companionship and camaraderie during these last few years.
Ken lived a life filled with adventures. In his younger years he demonstrated his skills as a professional figure skater. Often providing immense enjoyment for those who saw him perform. He was a daredevil welder/fitter being called into to do some very challenging jobs. Later in life he drove for Challenger Motor Freight and loved to share stories of his experiences on his long-haul drives. Ken was an avid fisherman, golfer and loved camping; taking every opportunity he could do enjoy any of these pastimes.
Ken was truly loved and will be so deeply missed.
“Right now, I’m in a different place, and though we seem apart,
I am closer than I ever was…I’m there inside your heart.
I’m with you when you greet each day and while the sun shines bright,
I’m there to share the sunsets too…I am with you every night.
I’m with you when the times are good to share a laugh or two
and if a tear should start to fall…. I’ll still be there for you.
And when the day arrives that we are no longer apart,
I will smile and hold you close to me…forever in my heart.”
