Providing Cremation and Funeral Services to Guelph and Area since 1941.
HERRON, Larry Keith – With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Larry Keith Herron, 69, of Guelph on November 23, 2022 after a battle with cancer.
Loving Husband to Cindy. Devoted father to Amy (Neil) Rocha, Matthew (Lisa) Herron, and Corey (Jenny) Herron. Cherished grandpa to Vaughan, Lachlan, Jamie, Roman, Aurora and Ethan. Predeceased by his parents, Sam (2006) and Dorothy Herron (2022) and sister, Evelyn Herron (2016).
Larry held various jobs throughout his career, most recently as regional manager with Canadian Solar O&M for the past 10 years. Larry had a strong work ethic and was a strong advocate for his team. He left a lasting impression on all people he interacted with.
At his core, Larry was a family man, particularly where his children were concerned. Larry was always there to support his children in all their endeavours as their biggest fan and continued that support for his grandchildren.
Larry was generous with his time and worked tirelessly to ensure that his family had everything they needed. Over the years, Larry volunteered as trainer and coach for his kids’ sports teams, and was always willing to offer a ride or lend a hand.
Larry was a kind, gentle man, and touched the lives of his family and all who knew him. He left us with a lifetime of memories that will be cherished forever. He is already missed.
Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life drop-in event will be held on January 28, 2023 from 1:00-3:30 pm at the Italian Canadian Club, 35 Ferguson St., Guelph.
We invite all those who knew and loved Larry to join us and share in his memory. Light food and drinks will be provided.
Everyone is welcome and encouraged to bring stories and pictures of Larry.
