STORIE, Lenora June – Of Guelph, passed away peacefully on February 19th 2021, in her 92nd year.

Cherished and loved by family and friends. Mother of Maureen Saunders, the late Debra Williamson (1987), and Denise Emeny (Brent Dunlop). Grandma of the late William Saunders, the late Jennifer Saunders, Jeffrey Saunders (Steph), Kyle Mugford, (Colleen), Melissa Metcalfe (Rob), Nicole Williamson, Krista Mallot (TJ) and Joshua Mallot. Great-grandma to nineteen.

June was born in Guelph to Elmer and Francis Galloway on November 18, 1929 and lived there most of her life. She enjoyed world travel with her sister Gloria, going to the UK several times. Mom had a great love of figure skating and was a season ticket holder for several years for the Guelph Storm. She also loved her animals and could often be seen given the dogs treats from the dinner table. Mom also loved to dance and could be seen trying to teach the grandkids how to jive on our family gatherings. She was a kind and gentle soul, not too many harsh words were ever spoken. Even at Christmas she still had a great sense of humour. She had some very tragic losses in her life and still managed to keep strong and have a smile on her face. She will be missed dearly by her family, friends, and staff at LaPointe-Fisher Nursing Home.

A private service will be held.  Arrangements entrusted to the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL 519-822-0051 / www.wallcustance.com.

Rest in peace, Sweetheart.

A tree will be planted in memory of L June Storie in the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest.
