FOOTE, Leslie George ” Les” – Retired 30 year employee of Imperial Tobacco, Councillor of Guelph (Eramosa) Township (1988 – 2006), Reeve of Guelph Township (1991-1998) , Warden of Wellington County (1997) and lifetime farmer. Passed away peacefully at The Elliott Home, Guelph with family by his side on Wednesday July 9, 2014. Les Foote of Guelph-Eramosa Township in his 86th year. Cherished husband of 63 years to Lorna (Gregson). Dad will always be loved and remembered by Marlene Parsons (Steve), Bob Foote, Betty Myer (Don) and Neil Foote (Stacy). Loving Grandpa of Lisa East (Adam), Jason Myer (Amanda), Julianne Foote, John Parsons (Priscilla Fung), Jeff Myer (Nancy), Crystal Davidson (Brett), Stephanie & Liam Foote and Great Grandpa of Kaliesha (Dave), Jada-Lynn, K.J., Seth and Elli. Also remembered by his sister-in-law Lois Foote. Predeceased by his brother Bill Foote. Cremation has taken place and a service to celebrate Les’ life will be held at Barrie Hill United Church on Sunday July 20, 2014 at 2:00 PM with a reception to follow in the Church Hall. • Maintenance of physical distancing, both during visitations and services, and during our meetings with families.
• Ongoing communications with those that we serve to ensure that they are aware of the current Covid-19 status of our municipality and the accompanying guidelines.
We continue to rely on the advice provided by health experts and are committed to doing all we can to keep our community healthy.
