SPENCE, Margaret Mary of Guelph passed away at St. Mary’s Hospital on November 9, 2024 in her 81st year.
Margaret is the dear sister of Michael and sister-in-law of Jean, and the cherished aunt of Cassandra and Tanya, cousin of Betsey and Freddie, and dear friend of Beth. She is predeceased by her parents Wishart and Elizabeth.
Margaret was a teacher and school librarian for many years, then filled her retirement years with travel, including to the home of the Spence lineage founder in the Orkney Islands of Scotland. She was an accomplished equestrian and quilter.
Family and friends are welcome to join us for a Celebration of Life at WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME AND CHAPEL, 208 Norfolk St., Guelph on November 26, 2:00 pm –4:00 pm.

In place of flowers, memorial contributions to the Liver Foundation of Canada or the Ontario Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals would be appreciated.
