Michelle L. Ivy

IVY, Michelle Lynn – It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Michelle Lynn Ivy, on August 30, 2024, at the age of 50 years. Born in Kapuskasing but eventually residing in Guelph. Her passing was peaceful with her loving sister by her side.

She will be dearly remembered by her daughter Ivy, her son Oscar and his dad Omar; her grandson Darius; her sister Cheryl (Nicholas) and their two daughters of Guelph; and her parents Lorraine and Stuart of Leamington. She will be missed by many family members, friends and colleagues near and far who have supported her throughout her journey.

Michelle was such a caring and loving human being who would do anything for anyone. She loved nature and spending time at the cottage with family and friends. She was an athlete most of her life and loved watching her own children play their sports. Her big passion was creating beautiful works of art that had so much thought and meaning put into each of them.

At Michelle ‘s request, no memorial service will be held. Her wish is to have a colourful Celebration of Life at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL (519-822-0051 / www.wallcustance.com).

Memorial Donations may be made in Michelle Ivy’s name to Thyroid Foundation of Canada (designate to Thyroid Cancer).

The family wishes to thank her doctors, nurses, and support staff at General Hospital in Guelph, at Victoria Hospital in London and at Hospice Wellington in Guelph for their extra care and compassion.

A tree will be planted in memory of Michelle L. Ivy in the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest.
