In Loving Memory of Minh Van Nguyen

March 13th, 1964 – June 22nd, 2025

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Minh Van Nguyen, a devoted father, beloved family man, and courageous soul, who departed this life on June 22nd, 2025, in Guelph. He left this world with his sons at his side.

Minh, one of many Vietnamese refugees who fled persecution and difficult living conditions, braved life’s challenges with unshakable strength, particularly in his long and valiant battle with several illnesses. Though his body endured much, his spirit remained unbroken—marked by quiet resilience, unwavering love, and a fierce dedication to his family.

Minh was more than a man who endured pain; he was a man who gave joy. A steady hand and a warm heart, he made a home filled with laughter, guidance, and grace. His children, Henry & Danny will forever carry the memory of his wisdom, the echo of his voice cheering them on, and the comfort of his unconditional love.

Even in the hardest times, he chose hope. He chose kindness. He chose to fight—not for himself alone, but for the ones he loved most. His life is a testament to perseverance, and his spirit lives on in every life he touched.

We are deeply grateful to the compassionate & exceptional staff at Guelph General Hospital for their care and support during this difficult time. Minh is survived by his family & friends, who will miss him beyond words but remain endlessly grateful for the time they shared with him.

A Memorial visitation will be held at the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph, Friday, July 4, 2025, from 5:00pm – 7:00pm.
