Buck, Richard Edwin – Passed away on October 1, 2024, at home, surrounded and comforted by his family. Richard had been dealing with oral cancer for over a year prior to his death at 71.
Richard was predeceased last year by his dear wife of 48 years, Barbara Jane Buck (nee Brandon). He is survived by his three children Tiffany, Melissa, and Brandon, his three grandchildren Dylan, Fletcher, and Norah, his sisters Patricia Wright (Bob), Heather Buck, and Penny Fettinger, and his in-laws Peg Brandon (Richard Williams), Robert Brandon (Suzanne) and Tom Brandon.
Richard was passionate about travel and agriculture and combined these two loves in a business organizing agricultural tours in Canada and abroad. His tours took him to every continent, every corner of the world (with the exception, as he noted with regret, of Antarctica). He loved learning about other cultures and sharing his knowledge and experiences.
