ELLIS, Robert (Bob) – A loving and loved son, brother, nephew, cousin, true friend, brother-in-law, uncle, father, father-in-law, and grandfather, Bob died January 15, 2024, in his 92nd year.
Wise, kind, patient, witty and fun, he was also strong-minded, confident, and reasonable. He was handsome and a natural athlete.
He was a caregiver, volunteer, donor, and computer club member. He was a jazz drummer and guitarist, gardener, and genealogist. He was always reading something and was an avid card player. He was a member of several bridge clubs, and he was the partner you’d want to have. He was an integral part of the Evergreen Centre improving bridge programs for many years.
He worked at many jobs but liked driving jobs and worked his later years in public transit.
He loved to dote on his grandchildren Theo and Tristan.
His gratitude and ours to the caregivers of the Village of Riverside Glen for their expertise and their loving kindness.
