Robert (Bob) M. McKend

McKend, Robert M. (Bob) – Of Rockwood. Passed away at the Guelph General Hospital on Monday, April 14, 2025, with family by his side. 

Beloved husband of Elisabeth (Betty), née Beeby, for almost 68 years. Dear father of Heather, Alison, and Rob (Fiona); dear grandfather of Caleb, Kieran, and Caila. Bob also is survived by his brother, George, and was predeceased by his parents, Thomas and Edith (née Bates) McKend. 

Cremation has taken place and a private family ceremony will be held. Arrangements are entrusted to the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME AND CHAPEL, 519 822-0051 / www.wallcustance.com.

Memorial contributions to Hospice Wellington where he and Betty volunteered for many years, or to the Guelph General Hospital Foundation where he was so well cared for by all the staff, would be appreciated by the family. 

A tree will be planted in memory of Robert (Bob) M. McKend in the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest.
