BENNETT, Ronald Edwin – 

Of Guelph, passed away in comfort and peace with his loved ones by his side at the Guelph General Hospital on Wednesday, September 8th, 2021, following a long battle with COPD at the age of 80.

Beloved hubby of Anne Bennett for 58 years.  Loved Dad of Leanne Barber (Rick) and Ron Bennett (Wendie).  Loved Poppa to Travis Barber (Naval), Kelli Groulx (Chris), Keenan and Reese.  Great-grandpoppa to Colton, Jayden and Benjamin.  Ron will be sadly missed by his siblings, Shirley Close, Charles (Barb), Barb Sponga (Joe), Bruce, Ralph (Debbie) and Larry.

Friends and family will be received at the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL (519-822-0051 / www.wallcustance.com), 206 Norfolk St., Guelph on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 from 2 pm – 4 pm and 6 pm – 8 pm. Guests must sign up by clicking this link. A private family blessing will be held following the evening visitation.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Lung Association or the Foundation of the Guelph General Hospital.

We continue to rely on the advice provided by health experts and are committed to doing all we can to keep our community healthy.
