Providing Cremation and Funeral Services to Guelph and Area since 1941.
Rosemary Anne Bott (McKeown) – April 17, 1951- April 19, 2025
Best friend and wife of Dave for 52 years; mom of Tom (Tammy) and Sue (Mel Priebe) ever loving Grandma of Brandon (Jenica), Amelia, Matthew (Madi) and Andrew; precious Great Grandma of Keenan.
Rosemary was a daughter of the late Edward 1978 and Margaret 2001 McKeown of Elora; preceded in death by her sisters Mary, Dorothy, Adele and Joan as well as brothers Eddie and Raymond. She is survived by her sister Cathy (Martin Bootsman) and a great number of loved ones in both her extended families and cherished friends.
Fully aware that life is not without its thorns, Rose spent much of her time caring for others. Whether offering comfort to someone in their final days or a homemade chocolate pie ‘just because’, she always found a deeply meaningful way to touch the lives of those around her. Rose lived so much of her life loving God by loving others and serving through her gifts of hospitality and empathy.
For those who did not know Rose, we, as her family, are sorry for your loss – you truly missed out. For those of us who knew her well, nothing can rival her true beauty – an incredible combination of faith, strength, joy and compassion.
We will meet again… where Roses never fade and we will join you in the sweet by and by
Rosemary’s death was due to serious medical conditions, most critically, lung disease.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice Wellington would be appreciated.
