BIGGS, Ruth – passed away peacefully, with family by her side, on Monday, March 13, 2023, at Groves Memorial Community Hospital in Fergus at the age of 89.
Beloved wife of Lionel Biggs and cherished mother of Douglas (Colleen). Loving grandmother of Josh (Caitlin), Ryan and Gavin. Loving great grandmother of Hudson, Oliver and Owen.
Ruth is predeceased by her father, Ferdinand Forszen and her mother, Marjorie Forszen (nee: Simpson), her sister, Glenys and brother, Richard. Ruth is also remembered by extended family and friends.
Ruth was born and raised in Guelph, Ontario and spent most of her life working there. She was an active member of Norfolk United Church where she was affectionately known as “Mrs. Music”. Ruth loved the arts and was an accomplished pianist and painter.
Arrangements entrusted to the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL 519-822-0051 / www.wallcustance.com. Cremation has taken place and a private interment will be held at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Guelph.

• Ongoing communications with those that we serve to ensure that they are aware of the current Covid-19 status of our municipality and the accompanying guidelines.
We continue to rely on the advice provided by health experts and are committed to doing all we can to keep our community healthy.
