HUBBELL, Samuel Walter – Passed away after a brief illness at the Guelph General Hospital on Thursday, January 12, 2023 in his 72nd year.
Sam is predeceased by his loving wife, Janice, of 43 years, their beloved dog Boo, parents Charlie and Viginia and his brothers Edward, Charlie Jr. and Glenn. Loved father of Paula (Jim), Kenny (Alex) and Don (Ruby). Dear brother to Charlene (Russ). Sam was loved by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Sam was a long time employee at Armtec. He was very handy and like to work on many different projects. He was well known in the classic car community with having a 1974 Dodge Lowrider “Sam’s Ram”.
He was born and raised in Acton and loved the area. He will be dearly missed by many friends.
Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Sam’s life will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL (519-822-0051 / www.wallcustance.com).
Memorial contributions to the Guelph Humane Society or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
A tree will be planted in memory of Samuel W. Hubbell in the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest.

• Ongoing communications with those that we serve to ensure that they are aware of the current Covid-19 status of our municipality and the accompanying guidelines.
We continue to rely on the advice provided by health experts and are committed to doing all we can to keep our community healthy.
