Shirley J. Strub

STRUB, Shirley Jean – Of Guelph, passed away peacefully at Hospice Wellington on Wednesday, May 10, 2023, at the age of 90.  

Beloved wife of the late Willard Strub. Loved mother of Denise (Gino) Frasson, Glen (Helga) Strub, Doug Strub, Mike (Andrea) Strub, Nadine Schram, Jeff (Sue) Strub and the late infant Robert Thomas. Loving grandmother of 13 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. Dear sister of the late Barb (the late Joe) McDonald, the late Ralph (the late Jean) McKen, Anne (the late Ron) Bennett, and Judy (Neil) Smith. Shirley is predeceased by her sister-in laws Beatrice (the late Ray) St. John and Margaret (the late Charlie) McEvoy.

Friends will be received at the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph, on Friday, May 19th, 2023 from 12:00 – 2:00pm. Funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on May 19th, 2023 at 2:00pm. Reception to follow in the Wall-Custance Family Reception Centre.  

Memorial contributions to the Elliott Community or Hospice Wellington would be appreciated. 

 A tree will be planted in memory of Shirley J. Strub in the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest.
