Providing Cremation and Funeral Services to Guelph and Area since 1941.
GOULD, Tom – It is with deep sadness that we share Tom’s passing. He died peacefully at Guelph General Hospital surrounded by family on Saturday, February 8, 2025 at the age of 54.
Tom cherished his wife Kim since meeting her in Glasgow in 1991. He moved to Canada to marry her and became the proud father of Duncan and Graham. He will be sorely missed by his parents Bob and Sheila, brother Alan, sister Edith, and loving in-laws.
Born in Edinburgh, Scotland, Tom called Guelph home for over 30 years. He worked at Camis in a position that combined his analytical skills with his love of parks. A singer from a young age, Tom was a lifelong lover of the arts. He happily spent countless hours, both on-stage and off, supporting all aspects of theatre through Royal City Musical Productions and various other local organizations.
A public Memorial Service and Celebration of Life will be held on Friday 28th February at 2:00pm at Harcourt Memorial United Church (87 Dean Ave, Guelph, Ontario). A drop-in visitation will be held prior to the service at 1:00pm with a reception downstairs to follow the service from 3:00pm-5:00pm. The 2:00pm service will be livestreamed via YouTube by clicking this link.
