GOODFELLOW, Vera Beatrice – of Guelph, 96, passed away at Guelph General Hospital on January 5, 2023, after a brief illness.
This special lady leaves a hole and a sadness in all of our hearts. A selfless individual, generous of spirit, she strived to make others feel good, even if just from a simple hello and a smile. She was quite simply “perfect”.
Predeceased by her husband Jack and Grandson Jason White. Missing her are daughters Nancy White (Dave), Diane Goodfellow (Andy Mihok), Grandchildren Kristi Steinman (Michael), Jaime Hamilton (Mike), Danielle Bennett (Sean), Matthew Mihok (Erika), and Great-Grandchildren Abbey, Liam and Jonah. Also missed by friends and staff at Chartwell Wellington Park, where she resided for the last several years.
As per Vera’s wishes, Cremation has taken place. A drop-in Celebration of Life for friends and family will be held at Guelph Country Club, 133 Woodlawn Rd E, Guelph, on January 29th from 1-4pm with remarks at 2pm.
Arrangements entrusted to the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL (519-822-0051 / www.wallcustance.com).
