PANDYA, Vinaben – It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Vinaben Ramkrushna Pandya in her home, surrounded by loved ones on the evening of Sunday January 22, 2023 at the age of 82.
Vinaben was a loving, supportive mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She took great pride and pleasure in keeping her family tethered.
Vinaben was loved by her late husband Ramkrushna Pandya. She was a beloved mother
and survived by her five children and spouses: Nayana (Jayprakash) Thaker, Hasumati (Sanjay) Thaker, Kalpesh (Kalpana) Pandya, Ketan (Urmi) Pandya and Muni (Vivek) Joshi. Beloved sister of Kamal Thaker and the late Narhari Thaker. A treasured grandmother of Vaishally (Jitesh), Jatin (Amanda), Heena, Rudra, Daksh, Hiral, Vishal, Nakul, Unnati and Manav. A doting great-grandmother of Keyon’dre, Anaiya, Keshav, Prisha and Raeya.
Vinaben was born on December 4, 1941 in Mumbai, India. She immigrated to Canada in the winter of 1987 at the age of 46, along with her spouse and children. She had a long career at Protexion Products Inc. for over 10 years and made lifelong friends in the process.
Vinaben enjoyed spending time with her religious community and family. She was an outgoing and independent person who embraced new experiences. Even at this age, she enjoyed trying new restaurants, shopping at new places and travelling. Vinaben enjoyed celebrating holidays with her loved ones. Christmas always held a special place in her heart, it was the season of bringing her family together through meals and sleepovers. The family will continue to cherish this tradition.
On the morning of January 24, 2023 a private ceremony was held at her home followed by cremation.
We would like to thank Wall-Custance Funeral Home & Chapel for the great care and
service they provided during this difficult time.
The family would like to thank all the support and condolences given during this time.
A tree will be planted in memory of Vinaben Ramkrushna Pandya in the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest.
