Wilhelmus (Bill) B. G. Roncken

RONCKEN, Wilhelmus (Bill) Bartholemeus Gerardus –

July 25th 1935 – December 11th 2024

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Wilhelmus (Bill) Roncken, a cherished member of our family, on December 11th 2024 at Uxbridge Hospital. He was 89 years old.

Born on July 25th 1935 in Roermond, Holland, Bill lived a life marked by love, dedication and resilience. He was a devoted/loving husband, father, grandfather & brother, a loyal friend, and a source of joy to everyone who knew him.

Bill was a passionate music and car enthusiast. He traveled the world with and produced music for legends like Liberace, Olivia Newton-John, and Anne Murray as well as his infamous Trinidadian steel band.  

Bill is survived by his children; Mike (Lyn), Bianca (John), Debbie (Steve) & Joyce (Glenn), his grandchildren; Shaun (Nora), Alisha, Ryan, Cody & Taylor, and his great-grandchildren; Ares & August, along with his brothers & sisters in Holland, who will forever hold his memory close to their hearts.

His family would like to thank the medical staff at Uxbridge Hospital for their compassionate care during his final days. 

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2025 at 4:30pm at Life Church – 1790 Central Street, Pickering, Ontario L1Y 1B4.  Arrangements entrusted to the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL 519-822-0051 / www.wallcustance.com.

Though he may no longer be with us, his love, wisdom, and spirit will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Uxbridge Hospital Foundation, honoring his memory.

A tree will be planted in memory of Wilhelmus (Bill) B. G. Roncken in the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest.
