Winifred (Wynne) Young

YOUNG, Winifred (nee Dixon) – Passed away peacefully at Norfolk Manor, Guelph on September 6, 2023 at the age of 97 years.

Beloved wife of the late Edward (Ted) Young (2010). Loved mother of Gerald and Paul (Heather), all of Hamilton. Loving grandmother of Jordan, Travis, and Kaitlyn. Great-grandmother to Jared and Mikayla. Winifred is predeceased by her parents John and Hilda Dixon, two grandchildren Aaron and Kelly, and four sisters Hilda, Freda, Joan and Edith. She will be dearly missed by many nieces, nephews, and friends.   

A funeral service will be held at WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph, on Monday, September 11, 2023 at 11:00am. Those wishing to attend the service remotely can do so via Zoom by using this link. Reception to follow in the Wall-Custance Family Reception Centre. Burial to follow at Huxley Cemetery.
