VIVIAN, Betty J. – It is with great sadness that we share that our beloved mom, Betty Vivian passed away on October 3rd, 2024, at the age of 88. Loving wife of 63 years of Leslie (2021).
Cherished and devoted mother of Wendy (Ron), Leslie (Uwe), Michael (Melanie) and Steven (Vanessa). Loving grandmother to Airik (Sara), Emma (Brendan), Riley (Trevor), Mitchell, Ethan, Aidan, and great grandmother to Layla. She will be dearly missed by sisters Karen, Myrna, Joan, and sister in laws Ann, Florence and families. Predeceased by sister Joyce (Al), brothers Walter (Betty), Bruce, Ronald, Bud and David.
She had a great sense of humour. She enjoyed fishing at their trailer in Pointe au Baril, buying lottery tickets (winner, gagnant!) bingo, hats, visits to the casino, music, dancing, the Jays and the Leafs.
Mom loved her chosen life long career as a grocery store clerk working at A&P (Metro) and Food Basics until forced to retire at age 70.
A very special thanks to the staff of the Wellington long term care 2nd floor for their heartfelt care in her final year.
Thanks also to the staff at Juravinski Emergency department for their compassionate care in mom’s final moments.
No more “Price check on aisle 4”, this register is closed.
