Douglas (Doug) J. Spinks

SPINKS, Douglas (Doug) John

September 17, 1955 – February 17, 2025

Passed away peacefully with his daughters by his side in his 69th year, after a longtime battle with Cervical Dystonia. 

Doug was born in Ajax, Ontario to Vilda Cooper and Ronald Spinks. He was a lifelong sports fan, passing down the joy of team sports to his children and creating lasting memories that will be cherished forever. 

He is predeceased by both his mother and father, as well as his longtime partner Cathy Towriss. He is survived by his children Tara (Craig) and Kayla Spinks and his brother Lloyd Spinks.

As per Doug’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no funeral or celebration of life service. Arrangements entrusted to the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL 519-822-0051 / www.wallcustance.com.
