MACEROLLO, Jason Benjamin – It is with great sadness that we announce Jason’s passing at Guelph General Hospital with love at his side on August 6, 2025 in his 41st year. “Your wings were ready, but our hearts were not”
To grieve the loss of Jason are his mom Debbie Muller (George), sister Jodie Coady (Alan) and two beautiful nieces – Rosalie & Delilah Coady & step-sister Paige Muller. Aunts & Uncles – Pat Darrach (Peter), Alan Weeks, Dan Macerollo (Kelly), Mike Macerollo (Beverly), Judy Campbell (Shayne), Ann Lankin (Jon), Maria Coleman (Sean) and Joey Macerollo (Janet) and his many cousins and friends.
Jason is now reunited with his dad John Macerollo, his Granny & Papa, Harpo & Gramma Dora, Aunts Lynda Weeks and Louise (Paul Kelly) and Uncle Joe.
As Jason’s family, losing him has taken a piece of our hearts with him but not the memories. Jason will be remembered for his kindness to those around him, his ability to make people laugh with his witty and clever sense of humour and his undeniable stubbornness. Jason was a fiercely loyal person and cared very deeply for both his family and the many friends he made throughout his lifetime. He was also a bit of a food critic, always knowing where to get the best Gelato or the best Philly Cheesesteak sandwich in town. Although his time here on Earth ended too soon, he will be remembered for the full, complex, and meaningful life he lived.
Words cannot express the gratitude for all the genuine, unconditional support and kindness Jason and our family has received by the staff at Stonehenge Therapy Community and Guelph Community Health Centre, it’s been nothing short of amazing.
Cremation has taken place. A private family gathering to be held at a later date.
Arrangements entrusted to the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL 519-822-0051 / www.wallcustance.com.
